Module 1 Writing Activity
choose a restaurant or a shopping mall.  Sporting events and parks are also good places to observe people. Write 5-6 sentences describing this scene and underline the subjects of your sentences. Write a few sentences experimenting with using different types of pronouns from the tables in Unit 3. 



 MALL AREA.

1. We walk together at mall hallway.
2. Those shirts he bought are from the department store
3. Who walks with you yesterday?

Module 1 Writing Activity


For this journal entry, discuss some of the advantages of the place where you live. Using the lists associated with each of these types of clauses, write at least three (3) sentences including adjective clauses and three (3) sentences including adverbial clauses. Underline the adjective and adverbial clauses. Consider their function in both as a modifier and an aspect of your writing style.

"From the place where i live, its easy for me to access our lesson, because we have a private internet connection (PH ISP Local provider). Also, our place is located in the city that makes us easy to get an internet service provider. I guess that's the advantages of our place where we live. But the disadvantages is so noisy on daytime because the unit building is located at the corner of busy streets of the city, cars, trucks, motorcycle &  people traffic noise affected us. and you add also the noise coming from the construction site right beside in our unit building. That makes difficult  for me to concentrate every time i'm taking the online courses. even at night the work at the construction site continues and  the place is at commercial area of the city."

But there is a few disadvantages in our vicinity, the location is a commercial area, the noise around area is so loud and its kinda hard for me to concentrate thinking while taking our online course. The unit building is located at the corner of the busy streets of the city, cars, trucks, motorcycle &  people traffic noise affected us. plus the noise of the heavy equipment coming from the construction site right beside in our unit building. Even at night the works at the construction site continues maybe because the project deadline before this December- Christmas Season."
